The most clear verse of which I am aware regarding the sin cleansing nature of faith in Jesus name. It is the name of Jesus that forgives sins through faith in Him alone. Faith ushers in the forgiveness of sins by the power of Jesus name that cleanses. Nothing else can wash us clean. It is no wonder that His Name is deeply revered by those who seek Him and routinely misused by those who are denying Him. The power of His Name cannot be overstated.
