Therefore, welcome him in the Lord with all joy and hold men like him in honor, because he came close to death for the work of Christ, risking his life to make up what was lacking in your ministry to me.
Just as we honor those who have risked and sometimes given their lives in the service of their country, so also we are called to honor and welcome with all joy those who have suffered and sacrificed for the cause of Christ. It is a great honor to suffer for the Name of Christ and we must never fail to lift up those brave souls who take advantage of this opportunity.
