Even silence can convict a person. In saying nothing with their mouths, they speak volumes about the content of their heart. I am afraid this also convicts me. How often the name of Jesus has not been on my lips. How often I have failed to ‘acknowledge Him before men’. How often have I denied justice and healing to ‘the least of these’ by simply saying nothing. It is our words, or lack thereof, that reveal our hearts.
