“All the prophets testify about Him that through His name everyone who believes in Him will receive forgiveness of sins.”
This has to be one of the clearest verses regarding the sin cleansing nature of faith in Jesus name. It is the name of Jesus that forgives sins through faith in Him alone. Faith ushers in the forgiveness of sins by the power of Jesus name that cleanses. Nothing else can wash us clean. It is no wonder that His Name is deeply revered by those who seek Him and routinely misused by those who are denying Him. The cleansing power of His Name cannot be overstated. Jesus Christ is the key to our eternal peace.
