nor did their own arm save them,
but your right hand and your arm,
and the light of your face,
for you delighted in them.
It is God alone who has the initiative and the full capability of saving. It is His strength and goodness that brings salvation to those who look to Him. His arm bears the load. His light illuminates the heart and mind. We are simply humble recipients who bow our knee to His Lordship and constantly reflect the gratitude and glory that is associated with the salvation that God has wrought.
“There is no other Rock. I know not one.” Isaiah 44:8
