…as you wait for and earnestly desire the coming of the day of God. The heavens will be on fire and be dissolved because of it, and the elements will melt with the heat. But based on His promise, we wait for the new heavens and a new earth, where righteousness will dwell.
We are those who are watching the Heavens with expectation and desire. We watch for His return because we long to see His face in spite of the trauma that will accompany Him. He must rectify all things and remove all evil – cleansing and remaking the Heavens and earth such as we have never seen or experienced.
The grace that accompanies Him brings the culmination of our salvation and thus we eagerly desire to see that day and be in the Presence of the Risen Christ along with all who have longed for His appearing. This will be a day like no other when finally good will be enthroned and Christ Jesus will reign over the restored goodness of Father God’s creation. We desire His coming. Maranatha!
