And they glorified God because of me.
What a profound spiritual compliment! If only others could speak such of us today. If only our lives were described in such a way! Wow! That others would glorify God because of our lives. No compliment exceeds this. What could bring greater encouragement to the child of God than the fact that others are glorifying God because of them – except maybe the fact of salvation by grace in their life. In any case, to be one who prompts others to glorify God because of one’s life is a privilege and a blessing!
Father, teach us, mold us, shape us into people who bring glory to You by our lives in such a profound way that others glorify You because of us.
