“We aren’t stoning You for a good work,” the Jews answered, “but for blasphemy, because You — being a man — make Yourself God.”
He absolutely did not ‘make Himself God’. He is the Eternal God and always has been. He is the infinite starting point necessary for this finite existence of ours. He is the original Cause. He is the Beginning and the End, the Alpha and the Omega. One cannot ‘make themselves God’ regardless how they try. One either is God or they are not. Jesus made this claim and then confirmed it in His Words, His life and the miracles He performed including, especially, His own resurrection from the dead. Jesus is God and salvation is found in no one else.
