Faithful love and truth will join together;
righteousness and peace will embrace.
What a beautiful picture of the purpose of the cross. The place where mercy and truth meet. Where love and justice are merged. God in His wisdom fulfills the requirements of justice through His Son’s sacrificial love and literally gives His perfect self out of merciful love for His children. This is the truth of faithful love. This is the peace that comes through imputed righteousness
This is amazing grace.
