“In the days of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, and this kingdom will not be left to another people. It will crush all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, but will itself endure forever.”
This mysterious kingdom is the eternal kingdom of Jesus Christ. It is a kingdom established by Father God in His mercy and grace built on the faith and work of Lord Jesus and of those who entrust their lives fully to Him. It cannot and will not be shaken for it is built on a foundation that is not physical. It is an eternal spiritual entity that is unaffected by the changes in this universe. It does not change or decay or degrade. It is solid and secure bringing unmatched stability in an ever changing and decaying world. It is comprised of eternal things – those things that we cannot see with our eyes but know with our hearts and minds. It’s members walk by faith and not by sight. This kingdom continues to advance even though all Hell assails it. The eternal truth is that the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it for Father God is its Creator, the Holy Spirit is its Advocate and Jesus Christ is its King!
