This hope will not disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
We have internal access to the unconditional love of God. It is supernatural. No longer are we limited to the natural, human love that flows with our emotions and is bartered for what we may receive. We have already received an eternal, inward supply of the love of God Himself to motivate our thoughts and actions. His is a love that always puts others first and always seeks reconciliation. It is a love characterized by peace, joy, endurance, character and hope. It is a love that seeks purity and shares strength. It is the love of God poured into us through the Holy Spirit who is ever living within us to move us closer and closer to Lord Jesus.
