Those who reject the law praise the wicked,
but those who keep the law battle against them.
The quickest way for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing. I don’t know who said this but it certainly rings with truth. Isn’t this verse at least one reason behind why God fearing men and nations battle against those who pursue evil and inflict it upon the innocent? Aren’t we called to battle evil in all places so that it does not increase and enslave those who pursue good? Certainly discernment must be applied; however, the man of God and God’s nation surely must stand against evil in all forms as long as this broken world endures. The ruler of this world has been defeated; yet, he continues to wreak havoc motivated by sheer hate knowing that his time is short. His motive is hate. His goal is destruction. He will not prevail.
We must battle against the wickedness of this world for the victory is Father God’s. It is so easy and seemingly ‘safe’ to do nothing. Thank God for courageous, godly men and women who lead in the fight against the evil of this world. The Kingdom is advancing and the gates of Hell shall not prevail. Our acknowledgement and pursuit of truth is the ‘front line’ in this war. As we continue to walk in obedience, we wage war against evil.
Father God continue to give us Your strength and resolve.
