“But if you do not obey the Lord your God by carefully following all His commands and statutes I am giving you today, all these curses will come and overtake you…” (ESV)
For those whom God has delivered and yet who willfully choose to disobey Him, there are drastic consequences. Living outside of the will of God is dangerous and ugly. It is truly a cursed life. He knows what is best and warns us regarding a lifestyle that chooses to ignore and disobey. He will never force Himself or His commands upon us nor will He protect the willfully disobedient from the consequences of a life of rebellion against Him. He extends Himself without compromising His justice. He knows what is right and best because He is the Author of both.
