Answer – Psalms 120:1

In my distress I called to the Lord,
and He answered me.

The God who spoke the universe into existence is a God who also hears and answers. He is open to inquiry and willing to answer. He hates deception and will not tolerate such. He hates lying lips and will come to the aid of honest people of integrity.

In this day and age of deceivers who reign, I am troubled and distressed. My heart is in concert with the Psalmist. Deliver us from the liars and the cheats. Deliver us from our own deception and guard our hearts and our tongues, Lord. We know You are there. We know You will not be silent about sin. We call to you, YHWH, the One who was and is and is to come.

You are the Answer.
