And in the breastpiece of judgment you shall put the Urim and the Thummim, and they shall be on Aaron’s heart, when he goes in before the LORD. Thus Aaron shall bear the judgment of the people of Israel on his heart before the LORD regularly.
Just as the priest Aaron bore the judgment of the Israelites before God, so has Jesus borne our judgment. In addition, He will be our Judge in the end and this Judge promises that He will not cast out anyone who comes to Him. (John 6:37) This is the greatest news one can imagine. Our Judge has borne our judgment and has become our Savior. This changes everything.
