How ironic. Jesus had pleaded with those He encountered to hear and submit to His will for their benefit; yet, He ends up being forced to submit to their will ultimately for our benefit. Will is a big word with deep implications in our lives. The will of the people was overwhelming to Pilate and yet, he would never have submitted to the Will of the One who could have saved him from the Jewish leader’s evil will.
