Faith Exposed – Luke 12:2-3

For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known. Therefore whatever you have spoken in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have spoken in the ear in inner rooms will be proclaimed on the housetops.

What one believes deep in their heart will become known by those with whom they interact. What we believe naturally manifests itself in what we say and do. Our philosophy informs our life. Thus, we must know and operate from the perspective that our faith in Jesus Christ is at the heart of who we are and that people will know. One simply cannot operate secretly in faith. It is not possible. The true believer will be revealed and must weigh the cost before he submits his life to Lord Jesus.

The promise which follows faith – eternal life with Christ – makes it clear that this commitment is more than worth it. The eternal, redeeming presence of Jesus Christ is unlike any other. Whatever the cost, whatever the consequence, a relationship with Jesus Christ is worth the investment of our lives in Him.
