God wanted to make known among the Gentiles the glorious wealth of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
This must be one of the most wonderful; yet, deeply mysterious truths. Christ is in me and by His presence He brings supernaturally the hope of glory. Not the glory of this broken place. Not the glory of compliments and accomplishments. Not the glory of wealth and fame. Not the glory of anything here. The glory of God! How does one get his mind around such? How do we comprehend such a thought? Lord Jesus within us ushers in an eternal hope that wells up and motivates and strengthens. It is a great mystery. I seek a greater understanding of this miracle so that I may walk more faithfully in accordance with this amazing promise and that I might share with others the amazing nature of what Father God longs to do for the believer. He longs to dwell within us and grant us the hope of participating in His indescribable glory. Wow! I’m out of words on this.
Grant me a deeper understanding Father that I might grow in my love for You and my faithfulness to You. Have mercy on my sinful self and my derelict mind. Reign in me Lord Jesus. Bring me to a place of maturity in You.
