John ends his book with the clear emphasis on life through faith. It is by believing in Jesus Christ THE Son of God that we have life in The Name of Jesus. His is a life-giving Name. It is His Name that brings an eternal change in the life of one who is submitting himself to the power of that name and to the implications of being a servant of Lord Jesus. Through believing in Jesus Christ, THE Son of God, those who once were dead are now made alive. It is the amazing power of faith in the One who can bring life from death.
